The following courses are currently offered to real estate professionals through the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors®.
- Buyer's Agents' Value to the Real Estate Industry
June 26-27, 9am - 3pm at the Chautauqua County Board of REALTORS, 303 West Sixth St., Jamestown, NY 14701
Whether you are a new or seasoned agent, this course will cover everything you need to know to provide your buyer with a sound knowledge of home buying. The course will begin with the role and value of the buyer's agent.
Covering the topics you need, in order to offer your client the highest level of service possible, the course is built around a comprehensive step-by-step Certified Real Estate Professional’s Manual — There’s No Place Like Home: Complete Guide for Home Buyers — that you can take with you to share with your clients so they feel truly well prepared to successfully navigate the often complex home-buying process. The guide covers mortgage basics, the home search process, purchasing know-how, and the closing process. - Representing Buyers through the Eyes of a Builder: Navigating the New Construction Maze

In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of the new construction industry in order to help your buyer navigate the often confusing process of building a new home. The course will provide a working knowledge of new construction specifications, floor plans and products as well as guide you through the intricacies of financing and new home contracts.
Learning the key components of the building industry will give you the edge you need to provide added value as an agent. Understanding the ins and outs of the home building process will allow you to become an asset to both the client and the builder to facilitate a successful transaction — from lot selection all the way to the final walk through.
